A continual source of fascination for me is the “undecided voter.” I must admit that I am never undecided. Why? I have a certain set of principles that I believe are Biblically based. Those principles make it clear what type of government will be right and beneficial, and what type will be wrong and destructive. I don’t have to agonize over how I should vote. There is always this great “undecided middle” in elections, and they hold the key to… Read more »
The devotion to Obama seems to have few boundaries. Perhaps you have seen some of the videos making the rounds on YouTube: children singing his praises; teens marching and spouting off on how Obama has given them new hope and has inspired them to succeed in life. Some would say, “What’s wrong with that? Isn’t that a positive thing?” What’s wrong can be summarized in one word: idolatry. Many have mentioned the cult that has arisen around this presumed political… Read more »
This ACORN story is taking off. You can tell by what political cartoonists are focusing on now. I’ll just let these speak for themselves. And I particularly love this commentary on who we may find in an Obama cabinet.
The revelations continue. Yet how many voters are aware of what is happening? Is the mainstream media telling them about the Association of Community Organizers for Reform Now (ACORN)? This very left-leaning group supposedly does “good” things, like get people to register to vote. Its voter-registration drives have led to prosecutions and convictions for fraud. Currently, 15 states are investigating this organization for voter fraud. The goal is to obtain as many votes for Obama as possible, whether they are… Read more »
It has been virtually impossible to get the mainstream media to properly investigate all of Obama’s allies. Hardly anyone mentions Obama’s connection to the writings of Saul Alinsky, the “original” community organizer whose philosophy was decidedly Marxist. What does Obama say about Alinsky? Finally, a few days ago, the New York Times wrote an article about William Ayers, one of the founders of the radical group Weatherman. Ayers set bombs at the Pentagon and the Capitol back in the early… Read more »
My last post talked about the image of God in man and how that relates to the sanctity of life. If you really want to see into the heart and soul of a person, the abortion issue opens that window wide. Take Barack Obama, for instance. When he was an Illinois state senator, Obama, on more than one occasion, stopped a bill from passing that would have ensured that babies born alive in an abortion attempt would receive medical care…. I heartily recommend Mark Steyn to you. He is one of the wittiest political commentators on the face of the earth. His latest on the difference between Sarah Palin and Joe Biden is too good to withhold. Go to the link here and enjoy.
