Tomorrow, my wife, Jan, goes in for breast cancer surgery. It’s been a long and difficult journey thus far, and will continue well into next summer. Her chemo treatments are now finished, but after surgery, radiation awaits. I’m going to be taking a short vacation from blogging over the next few days. I’ll return again sometime next week. In the meantime, those of you who pray can focus those prayers on the doctors’ skills, no complications, and a rapid recovery. Our lives are His; we are in His hands. We are not those who have no hope because our hope is in Christ, who provided the bridge into God’s presence. He is our comfort and our ever-present help.
