It’s been a rough couple of weeks for the president. First, there were a few people who gathered together to let him know they didn’t agree with his policies.
In his primetime speech, President Obama actually mentioned the possibility of tort reform, but I’m not sure too many people believed him.
The media did its best to ignore the ACORN fiasco . . .
But it’s difficult to ignore an organization that promotes blatant illegalities . . .
I’ve never heard it explained that way before. Why is the media avoiding a hot story like this?
Wouldn’t want to remind people of the ties that bind, now would we?
And then there were all the charges of racism. All that criticism of the president just had to be about race, didn’t it?
Most people have rejected that analysis.
Yes, it’s been a bad couple of weeks for the president, but in many ways it’s been good for the country: people have made their voices heard; corruption has been unmasked; the race card has been scorned. We need a few more weeks like these.
